My name is Dr. Andy Park and I am a local chiropractor that is new to the area. My wife and I moved to the Logan Square neighborhood in June and had been searching around for a martial arts gym to be a part of. I have personally practiced tae kwon do, boxing, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu on and off for over the past 15 years and it felt like a good time to explore other martial arts! I came to Titan Gym through the LGBTQ Seminar one year ago. Wanting to be able to defend myself should I come into a situation that requires it was very important to me. Living in the city life can be unpredictable for anyone. Being prepared for any situation is what keeps me coming back at Titan. I have been in the massage and holistic healthcare business for 5 years. I have found a fine balance between Sports and deep tissue massage and the use of Reiki along with other energy practices. I take a whole-body approach to treating injuries and general pain. I have worked with seasoned marathoners, body builders, dancers and a myriad of other athletes. Krav Maga Level 1 Midterm EvaluationSaturday, February 2, 2019 at 9:00 AM This evaluation will give instructors an opportunity to assess your skill set and address any gaps in training requirements between the midterms and your scheduled test date. This three (3) hour session will test not only your mastery of the level curriculum but also your capability to fully execute technique under stress.
REQUIREMENTS One (1) pair of 4 oz. MMA Gloves One (1) pair of Hand Wraps One (1) Groin Cup One (1) Mouth Guard One (1) Titan Gym, Krav Maga, or Hayabusa t-shirt (no substitutions allowed). Krav Maga Alliance logo only. Water or other hydrating liquids. Water will be available for purchase at the front desk. One (1) towel – towels will be available for rent, to be returned in designated bin upon test completion. OPEN ACCESS (no invitation required). $10 (Cash or Check).

Krav Maga Level 1 Rank Test Saturday, February 23 at 9:00 AM Students testing for their Level 1 certification are invited to demonstrate their knowledge of the level curriculum. This four-hour test is scheduled for Saturday, February 23 at 9:00 AM and will not only look at endurance and technique but also assess your skill-set in surviving real-life attack scenarios. Please arrive on time as no make-ups will be given. This is a Pass/Fail event.
