Our Commitment to Safety

Check back often for updates.

The safety of our staff, members, and guests is what’s most important. Titan Gym has always been dedicated to delivering a clean facility for members and guests to confidently work out. Like all of you, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 crisis. We know that every decision we make as a business can have a larger impact on the community and we are doing our best to make cautious and considerate decisions to go above and beyond CDC and local guidelines.

We are proud for following the guidelines and the advanced measures we’ve put in place so we can continue providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our members and staff. The city of Chicago recognizes our efforts and we received flying colors from our city inspections during the weeks of November 2nd and November 9th.

Detailed reopening safety and cleaning guidelines and procedures are listed below.

Each of us will play an important role in making the gym a safe experience for us all.

Physical Distancing

Physical distancing requires keeping 6ft distance from others.

* Floor markers at the entrance to maintain physical distancing while checking in.
* We ask group class participants to arrive at the studio as close to class time as possible to avoid overcrowding outside the studio.
* Equipment is unavailable to allow physical distancing will be marked with a sign.
* Signs will be placed throughout the gyms to remind everyone the 6ft physical distancing requirements.

Commitment to Cleanliness

Cleanliness has always been a top priority to us. You will see our staff continually moving throughout our gyms disinfecting equipment, studios, and frequently touched surfaces.

* Continue to use commercial-grade disinfectants and sanitizers.
* Sanitization stations throughout the gym for easy access to wipe down equipment before and after use.
* More hand sanitizer stations throughout the gym.
* Gym disinfecting and sanitizing between group classes.
* Continue nightly deep cleaning.

Touchless Check-In Reservation

Touchless Check-in continues upon entering the gym.

* Your check-in counts as your record of reservation.
* Swipe your key fob swipe tag or your MemberMe+ App barcode when you walk in.
* Staff and Members are required self-screen prior to entering the gym. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher needs to stay home.

Class Sign-Up

To maintain physical distancing requirements in our group classes, all classes require advance sign-up.

* All classes will require advance sign-up; members can sign-up 24 hours in advance of the start time for any AM classes and 4 hours in advance for any PM classes.
* Sign-up is done through the MemberMe+ app or via the Member Login tab on the website.
* Sign-up will open one week before the start of class time.
* If you need to cancel a class reservation, you must do so within 24 hours of the class start time.
* There will be $10 no-show fee applied if you do not cancel your reservation at least 24 hours in advance for all AM classes and 4 hours in advance for all PM classes. If you do not show up to your scheduled time, after 15 minutes we will consider your attendance as a “no-show”.

Face Masks

To prevent the spread of Covid-19, TITAN GYM requires that all staff and members wear masks in all facilities at all times, including while exercising. The mask must fit securely over the nose and under the chin.

* TITAN GYM is following the Chicago phase 4 guidelines which state in any common spaces and during indoor physical activity face coverings must be worn over nose and mouth.
* Acceptable masks include single-use surgical mask, double-ply cloth masks, and N-95s.
* Bandannas and neck gaiters/buffs are not allowed.
* Members who are uncomfortable with a mask or cannot wear one may return to the gym when they are able to do so.
* A non-compliant member will be asked to leave the gym, and may face membership suspension.

How You Can Help

Keeping our spaces clean and safe will be a team effort from all of us- staff, members, and guests. Here's how you can help us keep our spaces clean.

* Stay home if...

** you or anyone in your household has recently or is currently experiencing any illness symptoms such as: cough, fever, unusual shortness of breath, chills. A current list of COIVD-19 symptoms can be found on the CDC website
** you are waiting on COVID-19 test results.
** you have recently visited one of Chicago’emergency travel order states within the last 14 days.

* Wipe down equipment after use with gym wipes. Allow the cleaned surface to fully dry before using.
* Wash your hands frequently. When a sink isn't nearby, use hand sanitizer. Don't wipe the hand sanitizer off. Allow it to fully dry for maximum disinfecting.
* Maintain 6 ft physical distance between yourself and others.

Group Classes

What to expect from your Group classes:

* Classes will resume with updated schedules, allowing extra time between classes for proper cleaning and sanitization.

* Classes to be planned and taught with limited traveling, keeping members in a designated space.

* Studio floors are marked for physical distancing.

* Class schedules are posted on the Titan Gym app and website; printed schedules will be unavailable.

* All classes require online sign up via the current MemberMe+ App. Members can sign up for classes up to one week in advance of the class start time. This will allow us to properly manage class attendance and maintain CDC (https://www.cdc.gov/) distance guidelines.

* If you need to cancel your reservation, you must do so at least 4 hours in advance of the start time for all PM classes and 24 hours in advance for all AM classes. If you cancel under the required time before class or no-show, you will incur a $10 no-show fee.

* If a class is FULL, you can schedule to get on the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, everyone on the waitlist will be notified via app notification and email. This is first come first serve, so go to the class in the app and claim your spot.

* Spray bottles and cleaning cloths are available to wipe down equipment before and after class.

* Class start times and studios will be spaced out to allow for proper cleaning between classes and to avoid large groups gathered in common areas waiting for classes to begin.

* Instructors will ask members to wipe down equipment before and after each use.

* Some group class equipment will not be available for members use to maintain sanitization.
